For some reason I can't get my Mobo to run my card at 16X, its holding steady at 8X, when I go into my bio's its set to 16X I don't get it. What can I do it fix this issue?

AMD 64 3000+ (Socket 939)
Windows XP Home SP2 (fully update)
PCIE ATI Radeon 1900 (fully updated drivers)
SB Audigy (fully updated drivers)
EVGA NF4 SLI edition mobo (bios updated, drivers updated)
2gb DDR 3200
500w PSU (cant recall the model but a good quality aftermarket PSU)

Of course updated everything on my system, audio drivers, modo bios and drivers, graphics card drivers, windows OS. Nothing changed. We checked for spyware, virus's, and so on.

Which slot are you using? I had a quick look at a review of that board and it said that the two yellow slots run at 8x for SLI and the blue slot in the middle is 16x for single card setups.

Note the 3 PCI Express full-length slots above. The top and bottom yellow slots are PCI Express x8 (for SLI configuration) and the blue one in the middle is a PCI Express x16 (for single card non-SLI use).

make sure that the card is the in the middle (blue) PCI E slot.
