Evening All,
Due to boot issues (when using no security) with Win10 & Thunderbolt 3 docking station from OWC on my Asrock X570 ITX/TB3 I have managed to upgrade the firmware on the onboard TB3 chip which has fixed all my boot issues.
This firmware is compatible with Asrock's other X570 TB3 boards (Titan Ridge Device ID 15EB) and was sent by Asrock technical support.
The firmware my motherboard got delivered with was v41 and and new firmware is v50:
Please make sure to be running Thunderbolt software 17.4.80.550 available here: https://lear.freeboxos.fr/share/cnnVcOU1kozKasNL/Thunderbolt(v17.4.80.550_whql_19h1).zip
And here is the firmware updater which includes the v50 .bin : https://lear.freeboxos.fr/share/Ef0q8ZUidZ5_Vth1/FwUpdateTool(v1.0.4)+Firmware50.zip
Make sure to leave updater running until it reaches 100%, even if it looks like it stopped (mine took a couple of minutes from 95% to 100%).
Once update is complete, shutdown and leave for a minute or two then power back on the system.
Et voila, firmware is now updated.
Happy Flashing
