X800 voltage soft mod

I've heard of voltage softmods before for the x800 series (ie. Toxic x800pro comes with its own software to change voltage) and i found a thread on XS that changes the voltage through a bios mod (6800GT).

Why is there nothing like this for x800 users? Could this not be added to ATItool as well for testing purposes?

You could only change voltage on ATI cards via a hardmod. Not sure about the new X1x00 series though.
