Hello there. I have a kinda important question. I have a XFX AMD RX 570 and one of the fans is wolbleing and sometimes making noice. And the temperature is 90.9 ° C Degrees. Which I'm not sure if this is good temperature for this graphic card. It seems a little bit too hot in my opinion. Im looking for a American seller who has cooling fans for my GPU. And I really don't want to buy from China because of wanting a month or more to get these parts. So I wanted to know if anyone know where to get any? I don't mind if it's used or new as long it works great. I also have flickering while playing games or playing a movie. Mostly these happens during gaming like playing fallout 4. I have tried other games the flickering doesn't start until the game play in 15 or 20 minutes. I have Master Cooler PSU 600watt connected to this GPU. I also have some doughts about this PSU power supply wattage. It says 600 watts but the part number is registered in 500watt. This PC it only a 6 months old. Freshly Custom Gaming DYI Branded PC built from scratch in October 2019. Motherboard is DDR3 motherboard Gigabyte 970a-Dsp3 version 2.0
WD 500gb Blue HDD Sata 3 7200 RPM
Toshiba 2tb 7200 RPM
4 LED System Case fans
GPU XFX AMD RX 570 duel fans
PSU Cooler Master 600watt with part number RS-500-

Sincerely Yours

4 LED System Case fans 120mm
CPU Cooler 125mm with Big Radior brand New at 2500+ 10% RPM 4 pin
GPU XFX AMD RX 570 duel fans
PSU Cooler Master 600watt with part number RS-500-PCAR which it seems suspicious. Even the PSU flickering while playing games when LED lights are on inside the Case. They flickering slightly.
Also I don't know if it the this power supply is fit with this kind of graphic card which I think it that's why I'm maybe having this screen flickering while playing games. I really don't if I'm getting enough power for this graphic card or PC.
The graphic card is getting max of 1.15 voltage according to this software from OCCT v5.5.1 I downloaded from there website.

Sincerely Yours

All i can say is this is one huge mess.

Why do you think your psu is 600W? Yes, the product number and packaging says it is this psu:
Which turns out to be 500W (which is more than enough for your pc) is bad quality psu. It is rated as having 70% efficiency, nowadays nobody recommends psu without 80+ rating and that's for good reason. PSUs with such rating not just have to meet over 80% efficiency but also other quality and power delivery standards. I would guess psu is giving bad, jumping voltages and this is main reason of most of your problems. If you can, replace it with anything at least half-way decent with 80+ rating, at least 80+ bronze rating (there are multiple 80+ rating levels ranging from white up to titanium or higher, look it up at wikipedia) and minimum 450W.

About card fan issue i do not know how it looks in this exact model but it may be difficult to find just fan replacement. Contact some repair shops or give ad on craigslist/olx/this kind of website and maybe you will find someone with such spare fan. It may be easier to replace whole cooler. Over 90 degrees on gpu is extremely high. On my 580 while gaming i'm averaging around 65 but i have nitro+ version which has one of the most efficient coolers among 580s.

Combining this with you claiming hdds are reaching 46 degrees i guess your pc case is something extremely bad and working as oven for your hardware. Take off side panel and you should see much lower temps. You have 4 pc case fans? They are either wrongly configured or pc case doesn't have proper ventilation to deliver fresh air to these fans. If case would be any good your 4 fans would be doing an amazing job in cooling. Take a picture of your pc case, maybe someone in here will be able to guess what it is exactly.

To be honest i'm wondering why you were willing to pay half year ago for fx-4100 and 970 motherboard with intention of playing games on such hardware. I understand you are on budget but there are available way better options than outdated and weak (fx-4100 is a weak cpu, even for fx series) parts with no serious upgrade path. A year ago i replaced my fx-6300+970 motherboard and that was huge to me. If i would have to keep that fx cpu i would turn that pc into media player and web browsing machine or NAS or do with it anything else but i wouldn't use it as gaming pc anymore.

Thanks for your help and support. I have pictures of the case and PSU. What made think it was 600 watts because its stamped 600 watt while the product number says rs-500-PCAR on it. I first started doubting when I was looking for the effectiveness on Google search and I have readed the Post Cooler master making PSU through another company and rebranded them. I guess that how it's label information is different from the actual wattage in big red
bold letters.? Either way thanks for letting me know the efficiency rating. I could not find it in Google search. For as GPU , I have a XFX AMD RX 570 2017 model released, according to techpowerup GPU software. It was used very lightly when I got it. 90 degrees C is 192.00 degrees Fahrenheit which is hotter than my car that I drive. One fan has a wolble, while the other is spending great. You think that's why I'm having over heating for the GPU? For as the PC case is a DYI Black Diamond Branded mid size from Newegg which they sell on eBay where I purchase it for $55.00. it got a clear sided tamper glass case. I really wanted a full size but they are a bit pricey.

I've noticed Just the installation windows 10 Enterprise date is completely inaccurate I installed it in last November 2019 when my other HDD went completely out. And I had to buy another Windows 10 Enterprise license Key. I've started building this PC in September 2019. I don't know what is happening with windows 10 Enterprise inaccuratablity in the time of installation. But oh well.

It's FX 4300 3.82ghz base clock- turbo charger up to 4.0 95 Watts Code Name Vishera - Unlockable in BIOS which is unlocked currently . It actually plays well with most games like fallout Vegas and 3 and 4. I've tested on Rainbow Six Sigde and Resident evil 3 through 6. The Residents 7 alittle at times laggy but playable. All Battlefield and call of duty games works great I've over locked it up 4500 MHz. I tried 4700 MHz but it doesn't like it. I'm kinda surprised of it's preformce for what it is. When I got the motherboard is was kinda a combo deal off of eBay. It came with althon II X 245 2.7ghz which that wasn't worth my time with any games. It only could play game Battlefield 2 and call of duty 2. Slow on internet browser and opening any apps not including the bootup speed and loading up, which really is very slow. But I'm working on getting the FX 8 cord hopefully soon to play bigger updated current games as today.

Listen up that power supply design is from 10+ years ago, 2009 it has failed a lot of testing and also it is from a bad original equipment manufacturer so I would highly suggest getting rid of that piece of crap.

It was already dated by 2009

Oh God!? That's awfully bad performance thanks for letting me know this. I bought it used on eBay. No wonder the price tag was 16.00 us dollars. Probably why I'm having flickering GPU, And Blue screen of death now then. Video schedule errors, memory errors onece in while. It might be the case that it's not giving enough power to my PC case fans to cool down my system. I have noticed that it system fan 2 of the fans are under performing while using GPU benchmark last night. I was doing some test on PC case cooling fans and using the OCCT software. I have 4 case fans in total. Two of 4 them are under performing as the computer system is detecting fan speeds are under 800 RPM under a load while doing this test. They won't go over approximately 800 to 1000. These Vetoo fans max RPM speed is rating is 1200 +10 %. I think my system is getting very hot caused by this PSU not performing well making everything going out whake. Not including my GPU having flickering issues.

Yes I will change this PSU very soon. And sell this cool master or keep it for testing other future builds planning on doing hopefully.

One Question. How does a XFX Pro 650 Watts or
Pro 850 Watts performance? It's it really good PSU? I have found some on eBay Used and we'll working condition as listed. I've been looking at them for 3 days.

Thanks

I think it's the this PSU performance lacking power supply for my PC making everything hot. PC case fans two of them are not blowing fast enough to cooling the system due to under performing PSU. Since exiled airman has mentioned that I have a very very bad PSU under test has failed badly.
I will change this PSU for something much better than what I have.

Thanks

PSU Brand XFX ,OcZ Pro, Replace X are these good Products for performance?View attachment 145134. They are rated Bronze 80+View attachment 145133View attachment 145132

I think it the PSU

I think it's the this PSU performance lacking power supply for my PC making everything hot. PC case fans two of them are not blowing fast enough to cooling the system due to under performing PSU. Since exiled airman has mentioned that I have a very very bad PSU under test has failed badly.
I will change this PSU for something much better than what I have.
That CM psu you have is weak on current output and was average to mediocre in 2008/2009 then

Don't Go Cheap on PSU, i will look up the XFX unit to make sure it is a good oem, the rest are meh

Yes yesterday PSU starting to show me more and more weakness the LED Case lights are flickering like Christmas lights while playing games and the whole computer froze up with storage unsuspected errors. I think PSU dieing anyway. I have been getting more and more blue screen of death lately then usually. I wish this website could upload video to show you what I'm looking at. But I have to buy another Toshiba Sata 2 2TB hard drive also. I contact the pervious eBay seller that sold my this HDD. I know it been 118 days ago since purchase he's willing to work with me on some deal. I told him that he sold me a high reallocate count 100 disk.

Question of day.
I have seen some thermal pad online on eBay. Since I'm being prepared to replace my RX 570 radior fans and I'll have to reinstall the cooler once they are shipped to my house. What is different from thermal paste and pads.? Are these pads are better in cooling efficiency then the thermal paste or they don't make different in quality in cooling. Thanks for your help and support.

The XFX 650 Pro is a good psu, Seasonic OEM.

Just as a help to you Stick with Seasonic or Superflower Powersupplies, they are the OEMs that can be trusted on quality.

Are XFX made by seasonic or these manufacturers are separated companies.

Yesterday I have disconnected all the case led lights and 3 out of 4 case fans to conserve power for GPU. Led lights were taking all power from this from all my hardware in CPU and GPU. And put the GPU in Resident Evil 7 biohazard to the test in 1900x1080 revolution pixel in lower settings and plays better than before but still a little laggy in game play but not as much it did before. And also took off the other side panel as well including the glass part to insure that my computer and GPU doesn't over heat like it has. GPU and computer hard ware now doesn't over heat like it did. But I know I'll still need a new PSU ethier way. And upgrade the CPU also to a fx 8 core sooner than later. I'm currently going to sell my fx 4300 3.8ghz turbo to 4.0ghz to get a new or used fx 8 core. Probably will post it on eBay for what I paid for it.

I'm totally convenient the PSU is the problem with PC performance.
Thanks for your help and support.

Benchmark Scores It does something, plays games and stuff, do I really need to whip out my score penis at you?
You can buy replacement fans on ebay and fix your fan problem easily. I may also suggest that you remove the heatsink and relap the gpu with good quality thermal paste, for I cannot tell you how many laptops, pcs, and video cards I have fixed with heat problems because the paste has dried up and not doing any thermal good at all which will cause high temps and a tons of problems causing crashes, and all kinds of weird stuff because the stuff is way too hot to run properly. Since its a 570 and its been out for a bit, I would say its time to repaste that sucker, fix the fans, and watch it become cooler right away ;)

A lot of people forget about the gpu using thermal paste or pad, and that it will go bad and need to be redone every so often, and cleaning out the dust bunnies can help out a ton as well, where can air and a cheap 5 pack of toothbrushes for a buck at walmart becomes your best friend :)

Wow thanks I didn't get this one message until now. I didn't even get a notification. But I will get the artic mx-4 paste like other being saying to me on this website. I did get the fans installed but I used paste from other build which I don't think the paste is worthless I'm still getting 89-92 degrees Celsius. So if my GPU is over heating then it's making everything else hot..

When buying replacement parts, keep a close eye on your total amount spent. Its easy to spend a new rig's worth on pretty much worthless bandaids and this is fast looking like it. I also pointed this out in your other topic... this PSU isn't the only problem you have. Also it seems you have to order everything or drive around for it... take that along in your calculation too.

You have been running this crappy setup for a while now and the damage might have been done.
