If it weren't for my P55 SLI's poor x16 layout I would take dual 460s. If I can find a good deal I might still consider dual 460s and run one in the x16 and the other in the x4 since I am just folding anyway.

well onedub its already been shown 480 sli is NOT hindered by x4 x4 sli so x16 x4 should still be just dandy for the 460s ;) after all x4 2.0 = x8 1.1 and even on the old standard gpus are not taxing the PCIe bandwidth so 460 sli shouldnt be an issue for you and if your folding then thats even bigger bonus in your favor

Oh yeah folding is no problem on x4- my 8800GTS is in the x4 slot right now :D

One other poor thing about the P55 is that the x4 PCIe slot is seen in Windows as 2.0 but due to hardware limitations of the P55 PCH, its actually PCIe 1.0 bandwidth :laugh: ohwell!
