Room temperature?

You got more problems, dont bother flashing it, return it and grab a sapphire pulse rx 5700.

I do stream and use ultra settings.
5 fans excluding the Gpu (2 fans) and cpu (1 fan)
My MSI 1060 6gb streams on slightly under high with rough average of 64-70 C all day?

243 seems like I could cook a pizza in there

Room temperature? Is this a thicc 2?
No dd ultra and room temperature stays about 70 F with a window open (outside is around 40 F

What card is it specifically, what room temperatures are you dealing with?

Are you sure the fans are spinning? And in what speed?
What drivers are you using?

This cooler design is similar to 5700Xt thicc II and it’s not the best. A lot of design flaws. Those plastic covers are blocking the air flow. But it shouldn’t hit this temp anyway. Something is going on with the fans I believe...

True dat what said above.

And I thought that the Asus TUF 5700XT was the worst one..

The TUF is still the worst one, since the coolers are not even mounted on the cards properly.
The XFX just has poorly designed coolers.

Definitely check the fans are running correctly, you could always try setting the fan curve to 100% just for testing purposes in wattman or afterburner or whatever tool you have.
From looking at the photo of the card itself it doesn't look that bad tbf, I have reference Vega 64 that tops out at 82-85c but still runs at the speed i've set and doesn't throttle down at all.
If the fans aren't working correctly then return the card and get yourself a Sapphire Pulse or Nitro or PowerColor Red-dragon or Red devil, Don't want sound like brand snobby but for me if i'm buying a AMD/Radeon GPU its got to be either Sapphire or PowerColor as they only sell AMD GPUs.

It would shut down way before 110c around 90c you would see serious throttling, are you sure you're not looking at the hotspot temp as that seems about right

good point. 110*C on the junction/hot spot temp would likley mean the "standard" temperature read out would be in likely the high 80's or even inching into the 90's

Beacause 110* on the standard temperature read out would make for something insane for the junction temp, over 130*C lol

I have the reference 5700, and I run 925 mem, 2040 core @1090mV (1040-1060?).

My fan curve is set to 50% to 82c, and then it gets aggressive. I never go above 70s c on core. uV like a madman. With a 2k core, you can probably go <1080mV on the core.

Also, for me definitely: Fan noise is annoying when it "changes", if your fan curve is fairly aggressive (50~55%), but you dont have it increase until a reasonably high temperature, it is much less noticiable that constant increases and decreases in speed.

My 2c.

Apparently Asus screwed up more than just the TUF.
So if the OP is ever to return the card, stay the hell away from Asus.

TBH for a good PCB to watercool just get the reference.
The more recent AMD reference PCBs are better than most AIB.
For air-cooling, the heatsink gives out way before the PCB does.

I wouldn’t tolerate any of that. GPUs are not cheap, and it should just run nicely. Lazy engineering, shoddy craftsmanship, why are you giving them money?

AMD didn't create those sub-par coolers that AIBs slab on the cards loosely.
These 7nm GPUs are physically small for their power, so there is less surface area for heat transfer.
What this means is it makes poorly designed coolers and mounting more noticeable. FYI the OP does have a dual fan model, just not a good one.

Guys I have question,I have xfx ultra dd, I forgot my auto mode temps, but my junction temp (in automatic vents mode) was 95c.. Since I played with fan curve my working temp under 99% load are 74c max, and junction temps are 85c.. I didnt mess with removing anything from card.. Should I try to remove back in late,or this temps are fine?
