Hi, It will be kinda hard for me to explain this. But i just switched over to xp pro from xp home.

I never had a problem running 1440x900 (my native resolution) with xp home. But now that i have xp pro, with 1440x900 my desktop doesnt fit on my screen, but i can slide back and forth to see the portion that is hidden. It is verry annoying and i want to keep my native res. I used to run all my games in 1440x900 but now part of the screen on the right is cut off. If this is a feature of xp pro I havnt been able to find the option to turn it off. If anyone could give me a hand figuring this out I would be grateful.

asus p5nd2-sli
intel pent. D 3.4
geforce 7950 GTOC
4 gig pc-5200 ddr2 ram (only reads 3 lol)
samsung syncmaster 19 inch widescreen lcd
Windows xp pro up to date.

Thanks

My advice is that you reinstall nvidia drivers - possibly try an earlier set.
