Striking a balance between functional thermal design and flashy RGB aesthetics, the XPG SPECTRIX D50 offers an alternative to the RGB spectacle of the SPECTRIX D60G. Let's see how the Ryzen-optimized XPG SPECTRIX D50 kit stacks up!

Why does it say 4000MHz in all the graphs?

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

Because, no editors/proofreaders...or whoever is doing it, isn't doing a good job (I suck at it and we require two read throughs and still miss things, lol)? I'm still waiting on a reply about the USB naming conventions (they use old ones) they use in mobo reviews, and a correction on another review. Everyone is busy though...

Little sandpaper work and you've got a nice and shiny heat spreader.

More super tall memory which won't work with a D15 Dual Fan.

Hmmm

SPD 2666
Micron E-Die
Dual Ranked

Seems to be good for AMD based systems.

I would like to see W1zz do a review of this kit, so plain and unassuming.

Intel not liking Rev E is the norm. Not sure whether it's changed with LGA1200 but on both 1151s it's pretty hard to get it to go fast.

Well this blows. Yet another kit that seems to have swapped out E die for B die.

At least it's 3600DDR, but I am under no illusion that I will be able to tighten up timings..... I'm not buying more ram. These are the 3rd set of sticks that you reviewed as having E Die Micron which was dual rank that turned out to be B Die single rank.....

Most cheaper kits will opt for single rank, that's just what you have to live with when buying bins with timings that can be achieved by many different ICs. If you want guaranteed dual rank that is not b-die look at some of kingston's hyperx kits, those specify in the spec sheets whether they are dual or single rank, but they are pretty close to b-die prices....
