XVid to DVD software?

I used to have the full version of Nero 7 when I was running XP and I used Nero Vision to convert and burn movies (Divx/XVid etc) to standard DVD video. Now that I've switched to Windows 7 I don't think Nero 7 works and I don't want to get a newer version of Nero.

Is there anything out there that can do this for free?? I'm surprised how well the Open Source program Handbrake works to rip DVD and convert video but I don't think it can do what I need. I need the opposite!

Anything recommended or is this something you have to pay for?

there are many free apps for that, codecs.com has some

mediacoder and super works for me, but there are tons

ConvertXToDVD I use this for making DVD's From .mkv but should do any file type

DVDFlick works great! Worked quickly, has all the burning options built in and options to make menus and such. Nice program! Thanks again.

+1 on ConvertXToDVD. However, if you get my drift

, you can't really use the free version, because it will leave annoying ads in the middle of the movie every so often.
