Game developers are damned if they do, damned if they don't. If they up the graphics, it requires better computers, and people whine about the game being a lazy port because it is "unoptimized". If they only do minor tweaks to the game and but it runs on a potato GPU the same people whine about the game being a lazy port because the devs didn't make it look any better on PC...

I would rather have the potato GPU game over 'upping the graphics' and failing miserably, or failing miserably outright. Dark Souls and Ys 8 come to mind for the latter. There are plenty of games that look and run well, though, so it's not like those people don't have a point.

I'm happy enough to see more games on PC as long as they run well, no locked framerate/res, game speed tied to framerate, etc., and they have proper KB/mouse support.

The game is selling on Steam for $20/€20, about a third of what they want for today's AAA games—definitely worth it if you have time to spend this summer.

Right now Fanatical is selling the game with 20% off.
That's 10% more than the preorder discount on Steam.
You won't get the extra contents though (wallpapers, digital manga, avatars) but I don't think anybody would miss much, if at all.
The sale ends in about 2 days.

AMD is in all consoles so all ports are optimized for AMD day 1.

A decent port I would say, nothing really to complain. Kudos to Sega!

I preordered this game, but had to refund it, since the trailer gives a slightly false impression what this game is really about. To anyone who is not aware: this game has a lot of cutscenes and talking, you will almost constantly be discussing long dialogues one after another. There is action to be had, but it is not this game's centre attention and it may feel very casual to those who have enjoyed games like Batman: Arkham Knight or Dark Souls 3. Those who like The Witcher 3 might like this one, since the pacing of the game is very similiar and the openworld elements are there.

CPU seems pretty important to me in this game, 150FPS increase is massive! from a 2core cpu to a 6core one at 1440P.

It seems the game has a slight tendency to prefer non-HT over HT, but it's not a lot of difference.

This is probably a nice game to test integrated GPUs and low end cards.

And work well in 4K it does. Nothing wrong with a game that can accomplish that and be fun to play. If anything there should be more quality titles like that.

Still waiting on the source proving they have the best drivers. Simply being more stable in a small sample study paid for by AMD is no proof they have the best drivers. Stability is just one aspect of a driver.
