Yesterday halloween i noticed something strange.

Hey guys i recently purchased a new mouse from Razer and the led lights at certain hour become orange like the pumpking orange from halloween.

The lights stayed orange for 30 minutes then they back to green.

Is possible that Razer did that thing for celebrating Halloween ? Or is something that is included on the software ?

its not Halloween yet 10/31, i would highly doubt razor programmed your mouse to turn orange either. ( atleast due to the holiday)

most likely no and no. i have 2 razer chroma devices and they dont change from what ive set the profile to output. You would need to find a halloween profile on the chroma profile page if there was one

Yeah i was playing a very buggy game Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 ... Shitty game avoid it ! I Was too late when i ask for a refund.

Tollerating the initial problems then the game is just getting worse.

I can't speak for razor mice, but some gaming mice have game profiles or lighting options where they adapt to the color scheme of the game you're playing ,if that's enabled it'll change colors while the game is running.

My Logitech G502 does it

I never had any trouble with it from day one....excellent fun too.

As to your mouse light turning colors, I have two other mouse brands that have a different light color when a game profile is active. Just make sure that you have such a service running.

yep most likely game driven (thru Synapse ofc), for me it's Mass Effect: Andromeda

it either display the "Andromeda Initiative" logo on my G410 and change dynamically colors on my G502 when i am using my XbOne pad or highlight the shortcuts (also dynamically)

luckily unlike Razer Synapse ... G software is not cloud enabled (one of my grief against Razer )

different name same function (tho if i dictate to my phone r.a.z.e.r it will recognise the E and auto correct it to O if i don't confirme the input )

oh well .... i think we sorted out the main issue of the thread ...
1. it's not halloween
2. Razer tech are not clever enough to think of something like that (errrrr....)
3 if they did, well that would be kinda unwanted for those allergic, like me, to cloud enabled softwares (i mean .... how could they even remotely think of putting something like that on my gears via their soft if i didn't asked for it ... i control my gear behavior .... not them )



nonetheless games profile for keyboard mouse lightning are fine by my standard, kinda like the Ai logo on my keyboard (or the shortcut lightning)

Maybe your mouse is possessed. jk. most probably your lightning changes because of the game or just some settings that it has. I personally haven`t heard of Razer`s mice doing this but it`s still possible. Maybe they upped their game.
