I think I'll pass on this game until it's in the bargain bin.
When I originally played it I thought it was fun, but not awe inspiring.
Yeah, it was funny and the lines were memorable, but other than that is was basically just another shooter (IMO).

its not "just another shooter"

its got Tits and Ass, monster trucks and explosions field goal kicking a monsters face, rc cards and oh did i mention Tits an Ass in a day an age were most games with it are OMG CORRUPTING ARE YOUTH!!! lolz games gonna be awesome even if its a 1 or 2 time play through it will still better then most of the shit we get handed day in day out.

I bought it on steam already, and I am looking forward to playing it. I think I will either love it or hate it, but I think there will be enough community behind it that there will be mods to fix my biggest complaints before long, should I have any... Hell there are still groups modding Duke Nukem 3D, even some high res texture packs that make it look pretty solid :laugh:

If it's good for a laugh then I'll have no regrets. Frankly after the dreadful beta for Crysis 2, I never bought the retail game...so this is where that money got spent :nutkick:

http://pc.gametrailers.com video reviews are pretty awesome for checking out a game before buying. :cool:

While there's no review of the game yet on GameTrailers (there should be) all the various trailers are present and correct, which gives you some idea of what to expect. Frankly, it looks like a damned good blast and the humour is spot on.

so story and gameplay can be terrible the above 4 things will make me play the game all the way through at least twice.

I've gone and dunnit!

Been shopping around for the best purchase of this game. A really important criteria for me was to get the Big Package DLC and I didn't care for First Access.

Only a handful of places do it, including Game, so I just bought it for £26.99

Duke Nukem Forever (with GAME Exclusive Preorder unlockable content)

I sorta want the Balls of Steel special edition, but they seem to charge a lot for a few cheap giveaways. You don't even get the DLC or strategy guide (not that you really need it, lol) which would have added real value to it. If anyone wants it, Amazon currently have it for £44.99 here which seems to be cheaper than anywhere else.

For the DLC pack i haven't a clue what is happening from Amazon. But honestly not really that bothered about it. They seem to be the cheapest, as i've got it on pre-order for £42.05 so slightly cheaper then it is currently advertised.
