It'll be my first gaming mouse, finally, I can be relieved that I can throw away my generic dell mouse, that I've been using to play CS:GO (It's actually pretty comfy AMAZING SHAPE, compared to other mice, it's just that the sensor sucks.

I hope Odin will be my money's worth.

I get the same, no matter how careful I am, I can tap the keyboard gently upside down and food crumbs and hair fall out.

Same, maybe since you're pushing it down gently instead of quickly, it gives the food crumbs more time to seep into the keyboard membrane. Not an issue for mechanical keyboard users, since they can probably just get a key removed and vacuum everything. On a membrane keyboard though.

I honestly don't see anything special about? It is pretty much the same generic shape as any other mouse? What am I missing?

It's supposed to be like the finalmouse, except it's $50 instead of $80. You might think "Oh, $80 isn't that much". It isn't, but Finalmouses have "limited" stock and when they are sold out you can expect them to be like $150-$200 from another seller. Would you pay $50 for the samething, plus RGB or $200 for a waste of money that costs way more than it is to produce.
Finalmouses are $80 on the site, but there are so few of them they get sold super quick.

If you're buying a mouse for that ~5 grams of weight savings because you're a professional gamer.. you're not worried about spending $30 for a better product...

This mouse and everything else that gets the "Gamer" buzzword thrown on it can die in a fire.

Have you ever looked at your mouse, or anyone else's mouse and seen that "gunk" in the cracks for the buttons and stuff. Imagine that, but in all the holes of the mouse. No thanks.

Overpriced. Weight is not that much of an issue... unless moving 80g around is too taxing on your muscles. In that case... seek help.

And yes that applies to 'pro' gaming just as well... Basically this swiss cheese mouse is a failure waiting to happen. Moist, dust, it all gets trapped in there and between actual components that are making it work.

I thought "it can't be that bad" but holy crapknuckles that thing will turn gross in no time at all. I really hope it's easy to dismantle, and that you can wash the non electronic bits with soap. I see it as a necessity for mice and keyboards.

Weight can be important. I bought a Logitech G602 for the laptop which I mostly use in the couch or a comfy chair, and that thing is way too heavy for comfort there, plus it sucks at moving on jeans for some reason. So the old MS Optical Basic it is.

Had to google what the heck the OP was talking about. The mouse itself is a giant ball of meh but the amount of 5 star reviews of people that only pre-ordered it made chuckle. That's going to end well.

Especially now that release date got pushed back to May 27-30, at least judging by one retailer over here and CaseKing.

And how hard could it be to actually make the mouse? It just looks like they took a generic mouse and drilled a bunch of holes in it. I could probably make one in my garage in about 15 minutes...

I'm pretty sure I paid around $50 for my AFX mouse, but it weighs more than 68g with the weights in it.
Anyway, this is what the Odin looks like, with all that clever marketing hype.

The mouse and keyboard market is extremely oversaturated at the moment, so I can hardly get excited about any of the 2 products. Especially for the ones needing a preorder/reservations etc.

Preorders and low supply is how you take a $10 mouse and make people believe it is a $50 mouse.
