rpg or fps is the way to go for me,
fps are fun and you can just relax and play, kill lots of stuff.
rpgs are good because you have to work for everything, and its entertaining to play. plus takes alot of teamworks cuz im always the healer so im indept into it.

Not a very big fan of Simulation games. I just like NFS Shift and Live for Speed.

Do turn based tactical games such as fallout:tactics (and possibly even fallout 1 & 2 assuming they don't fall under the TBS genre) count as turn based strategy?

Similarily, what about sports games that aren't racing or simulation such as Blood Bowl.. which also happens to be a Turn-based Strategy/Tactical/Sports game...

I'm just nit-picking ..

The first video game I played on a PC was Delta Force 2, and since then, the FPS genre has been my favorite. Racing games take a close second—all the NFS games as well as some others like GRID. When I want to just kick back and take a break from work, nothing beats a good police pursuit in NFSMW.

There is only one game outside of the FPS (borderline) and racing genres that has thoroughly won me over: Fallout 3. And a hell of a game it is.
