So many variables. A generic one maybe 15 minutes. But a fully customized one with a lot of cable management could take hours. Mine took around 4 hours and I had to custom fit the water cooler because the damn build has the slot for it to be installed, BUT NO VENTILATION for the radiator 0_0. Took my time doing all as well (enjoying it).
Yeah I thought building in a full length midtower like the Meshify would make it quicker because less bs on cable management with the larger space and the fan hub, nope. I do however have 3 sata drives and 1 m.2 drive with enough lanes to fill out all 3 m.2 slots.

Still the end result was cleaner than it ever did while my system was back in the O11 Air Mini, main reason why I passed the case down to my sister.

Also with the O11 Air, if you remove the back panel with the expansion slots and shit to make it easier to install the motherboard, don't screw the board in yet - just place it in with the standoff holes being mostly aligned. If you screw it in, you can't place the back panel back on.

That was a lesson I only needed to learn once.

Okay, I get it, the WD sticker is ugly. No more sticker. I can just hide the other 2TB Blue in the drive caddy under the 1TB that has no sticker

I hope to get a windowed top soon for the S3

I actually wonder how long on average does one build a pc
3 hours for the build I did today - although I am rusty and the case/PSU combination isn't the best.

OR we have custom configurations that take time to implement. From start to finish, no breaks, it takes me a solid 4 hours to properly setup Windows 11 on my system. You know me, I have VERY strict methods were security and customizations are concerned.

Your actually the second person who's ask for one, but the problem I'm encountering is that with every point release the method needs to be altered slightly to account for changes made by microsoft. I can make a generalized one if you all would really like one. Keep in mind, I really do tear things out of Windows to achieve what I would consider an acceptable result.

So should we have a poll?...

How well does the Torrent's fan hub work with your motherboard's pwm fan header?

My Meshify 2's fan hub doesn't work with my motherboard unfortunately, so at the moment all my case fans are all running maxed until I could be assed to fix it by plugging them directly to the fan headers themselves.

Strangely it used to work (or maybe not) with my previous board, Z490 Aorus Pro.

Board brand, type, whatever shouldn't really affect it since fan headers are standardized.

I thought about it but decided it might be too flashy

It's usually buttoned up (but with acrylic window removed from panel for GPU airflow), so none of the drives are visible.

No problem, I did have to have one fan on each channel to get it to work.

Small update on Aorus Ryzen until more components arrive

It works! Not that I was unsure but I'm always relieved when it boots into the OS.

I have to install dev tools, emulators, setup SSH stuff, setup environment variables... argh.

3 hours is honestly little, I dread when I have to reinstall Windows, and I really do it as little as possible.

Have you considered a backwards airflow?

Let the top and back fans be intake (let's ignore the lack of filters for now) and let the front be the exhaust?

The typical airflow layout isn't good for the gpu since it sucks air through the pcie covers, having weak air flow from the front causes (I think) dead zones around the gpu making it hard to breathe.

At least that's my experience with the S340 Elite.

Also a pcie gpu bracket would be a good purchase; I'm seeing a slight sag on your gpu.
