New to me this i9-10980XE on a EVGA X299 FTW k motherboard with 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance
Just bought it off marketplace for 500 CDN. Can't believe it, and with an additional Intel Core X Series i7-7820X. No graphic card, but I have many, so I put in the EVGA 1080 SC for now, have an RTX A4000 on the way. This came with an EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G3 PSU, and a 1TB Western Digital Blue NVMe m.2 SSD.
Bit of a story and more to come...my dream motherboard Asus X299 Edition 30 !!

Yes, all 12 fans are 3-pin. I really dislike PWM fans as most, if not all, have issues at low rpm (ticking noise).

I filed AIO fans that pushed on RAM and MB rear output block, will mount last as exhaust bottom RAD. Fixed.

Dammit dust.

I would suggest using the same fans, don't mix and match because they will have different CFM and more importantly static pressure. Get 2 of the same fans with good flow, typically fans made for radiators, not case fans.

Updated my main PC with a new set of Arctic fans. 5x P14 PWM PST (front and top), 1x P14 (PSU), 3x P12 PWM PST (rear and bottom). Also deshrouded the ASRock 6900XT OC Formula and installed the silent HDD cage.

Whoops! I accidentally wrecked my ASRock X570 Steel Legend, just by removing the RX 6600 XT. The screwdriver slipped and took out a crucial component. I knew I wrecked it! I didn't even try to power it up!
I heard it hit something and it sounded like a tiny piece flew! Looks like I accidentally took out a transistor. The Vcore delivery doesn't even look as good, anyways. If I get another AM4 motherboard, it will be the same thing as my daily driver. I hate having to push that lever to get the card out in that cramped case that's in my other room. It has 3 legs, IIRC.

Update on the setups, I got new table feet so now I can have two desks with two rigs. 2nd rig has also a 10m HDMI cable so it's connected to my TV as well.

Luckily I got glasses last summer, without those I couldn't see shit from this screen. Kinda full circle as my first flatscreen was a 32" 768p TV and now I have a 4K monitor with the same size

I'm far sighted, I had a 24" 1080p way way back and it looked like 8-bit graphics or a screen door, and a foot away I could make out the RGB on the pixels. Went to 23.8" 1440p, liked that monitor, handed it down to daughter and got this about 3 ish years ago when it was on sale for $330 (CAD) Gonna need glasses soon to focus on stuff up close, when I read I'm holding the book away from my face at full arms length, and I can't grow my arms any longer, so glasses aren't far off.

The newest member of my PC family and the first to run a Linux based OS! An old Dell Optiplex 780.

Spec list:
- Core2 Q9550
- G43/G45 Chipset
- GT 730 (2GB GDDR5)
- 4x2GB DDR3 1066MHz
- old 256GB Corsair SSD

Dell had a vertical GPU mount all the back in 2008 lol. Allows for a full width card in a slim chassis.

It can even do some light gaming on this old 1680x1050 monitor. WoT Blitz runs fairly smooth at 60fps on medium settings.

Not sure if I will stay with this OS. Proton translation is a bit of a pain. Perhaps Tiny10 would work better?
