z97 gaming 7,which cpu should i buy

    my friend give me a new motherboard,he hope me build a new pc,so now....i decide to buy cpu first,which cpu fit this motherboard,anyone can help plz!

    A 4690K or 4790K will fit.

    4670k, 4690k, 4770k, or 4790k would be what I would look for to match up with that motherboard.

    That is a great mobo, super easy to oc too. I'd pare it with a 4790k/4690k with the better thermals.

    Like other mentioned, get the 4690K for gaming, or no limit budget, 4790K. 4790K is the best that you can put in there.

    For Gaming 7, I prefer i7 4790K (Not 4770K. Because it's old)
    For Gaming 5, I prefer i5 4690K (Not 4670K. Because it's old)
