Hello everybody. I have a zotac rtx 2060 twin fan edition and its power target is locked to 100%. I can't go any further when overclocking. I read some of the posts and see a bios update will solve my problem, but then i can't find the exact bios for my particular gpu edition. They just have the bios for Nvidia rtx 2060 founder edition and a the zotac rtx 2060 AMP edition and other brands. I wonder if can install the bios of nvidia edition or the zotac AMP edition on my card. Will it be any problem? They are all the same rtx 2060 chip but why there are a lot of different bios out there. Somebody please help me. Thanks in advance!

Is it a 200 or 200A GPU ? I expect the non A cards will have less leeway here than even the FE cards .... for the 2070 TPU test on the EVGA Black (non A card_) the card allowed a boost of 14% on the power limit (175 to 200 watts). The FE went from 185 to 215 and the MSi went from 225 to 250 watts.

As always, BIOS swaps are not recommended unless directed to do so by the manufacturer.

I still have one more question about the real maximum clock speed of the card while i'm gaming. The boost clock of my card that show in gpu-z is 1680mhz, then i overclock it to 1850 mhz. However when i play game it jump up to 2055 mhz. Besides after i read the review of the evga rtx 2060 xc ultra, i see even though it can overclock to 1915mhz (show in gpu-z), it actually still run 2055mhz while gaming.. I wonder what why it happens

Contact Zotac, give them all information they request, do not flash any bios to your card unless if you are instructed to do so by Zotac. Be honest with them

Well actually i can overclock it to 2055 mhz when gaming. I just wonder if i can get even higher than that with the bios of amp version which allow higher power limit

Just flashed my twin fan to the AMP edition. I was getting the same overclock as you and was curious myself if it could push it higher at 111% power limit. Long story short: yes a bit but now the card makes a weird vibration noise when it stops being under load.

With just +50 on the core and 111% I could add on 300 to the non flashed OC graphics score on fire strike. Time spy graphics went from 7951 (original overclock) to 8081. But the heat went from 77 max to 81 (on auto fan). I’m sure it can get more but I’m out of time for the moment to test.
If I get time I’ll try pushing the vram again. It’s stable at +1000 (before the flash). But 1200 passes Fire strike and time spy then crashes metro exodus and vermintide 2.
