Announcing the ZOWIE ZA series of mice, the new ambidextrous shape in three different sizes. The ZOWIE FK1 and FK2 mice have been very popular among fans of the ambidextrous shapes, but ZOWIE understands that nothing is perfect. The new ZA series has an increased height on the back of the mouse, giving the answer for the gamers who want to rest their palms comfortably on top their mouse and have an easier lift with a claw grip.

The ZA series comes in three different sizes to give gamers more choice for different hand sizes and also people that prefer bigger or smaller form factors. ZA11 is the biggest, ZA13 is the smallest and ZA12 is in between. This mouse was built with palm grip in mind due to this ZOWIE has made the design changes to the sides of the mouse that make lifting the mouse easier while the pam is resting on the mouse.

Gamers will be able to pick the right shape and size for them without any compromise to the internals, as the Avago 3310 sensor is the same across EC-A, FK1 and FK2 and now on the new released ZA series.

Features and Specification:
  • Ambidextrous mouse developed for palm and claw grip usage
  • Two thumb buttons on both sides to comfortably serve left- and right-handed users
  • Plug and Play (no drivers needed)
  • Easy to switch between left- and right-hand functionality
  • 400 / 800 / 1600 / 3200 DPI adjustment
  • Adjustable USB report rate 125 / 500 / 1000 Hz
  • Perfect lift-off distance = 1.5 ~ 1.8mm
  • Operating system: Win2000/XP/VISTA/7/8; Mac OS X v10.2 after

Zowie is not as popular as Razer or Steelseries. Popularity in enthusiast class is very important

First of all, popular doesn't mean good. In a second time, the fact YOU do not know Zowie doesn't mean they're not popular. This only mean you've to switch your preferred source of information.

Third, I am laughing at the fact you mentioned some of the worst player on market. Some mouse from CM Storm and Madcatz are terrible, and Corsair was used to make some of the heavier mouse ever made.

You are right, however in your example popluar = known on market due to visibility/marketing money.
Tt eSports is tedious part of Thermaltake, CM is popular due to their cases, Corsair same as CM due to DRAM.

If Apple make gaming mouse, it will be most popular brand in few months...

I am talking about good stuff for gamers and there is ZOWIE on TOP. Try it first, you will see.

The comments in this thread are funny. :)

Personally I don't know why Zowie doesn't release a right hand only mouse or one with fully functional buttons. They have so many models now and all of them are the same stupid design. I could never use a mouse that has 2 buttons on it that don't work. That would drive me crazy.

Right hand only - EC1-A, EC2-A
So many models? Count models that are in stores and not EOL... EC, FK, ZA...so three models on current market is so many for you?
"2 buttons on it that don't work" eeeer what?

Yeah but those mice have that weird "ergonomic" shape. I'm talking about their symmetrical mice like these ones right here. And yeah 2 buttons that don't work my friend. Zowie mice have 4 side buttons 2 on left and 2 on right and a slider under the mouse with which you can select which side works. It's either the left buttons work and the right buttons are as useful as a pair of bricks or the other way around...

I never said, quality … better, must use, I just listed the popular brands everybody knows, I'm not degrading or talking about zowie quality, I just have never heard or used their products, not even when I was living on California,
You are right, however in your example popluar = known on market due to visibility/marketing money.
Agreed about popular, not all people know use or know the same brands…

thanks, I will try out someday, right know I'm pretty stuck on the excellent feeling provided by my tedious Tt eSports I have been using since I have memory,

Among competitive gamers, Zowie is very popular.

They're not as flashy as other brands though, so maybe that's why they're unheard from general public. Even their shape is copying from others then they proceed to tweak it here and there. They're almost like custom garage shop than international manufacturer.

Try doing poll 'what's the best mouse according to you' in an elitist community (actual pro-gamers or simply pcmasterrace wannabe), there's a good chance Zowie will be on high spot. Better than madcatz or Tt for sure.

Personally I don't know why Zowie doesn't release a right hand only mouse or one with fully functional buttons. They have so many models now and all of them are the same stupid design. I could never use a mouse that has 2 buttons on it that don't work. That would drive me crazy.
I think they're catering the FPS and MOBA players. They're known for favoring small, light, claw-able shape (hence not fully palm/ergonomic), and need not many buttons.

I love caselabs. The quality is outstanding and only keeps getting better. My only complaint with this case is seems like it could have better utilized some space.
