Experiencing Gigabyte's legendarily bad warranty process right now, no news on my RMA'd RX 5600 XT for 2 months.

(I'm Malaysian, their RMA policy here is "Please contact the location where the original order was placed. " Nothing from the shop either.)

Unfortunate policy, since with Gigabyte you have to be personally riding their ass every step of the way if you want your RMA to ever complete in time, including harassing them on social media to light a fire under their asses. Which the shop certainly won't do for you unless you know someone.

Yeah. I've been there. Both Gigabyte and ASUS can make some pretty neat stuff, but they both have abysmal warranties that always have me thinking twice at purchase. They are nearly blacklisted for that alone.

Far from it. It's from The Walking Dead TV Series. Negan was a ridiculously mean badass. I highly recommend the series but it's not pretty.

For real though... take the dark triad and make it a square. Negan is the fourth corner.

DDLC sure was good.
At first, i didn't expected anything, like any visual novels wich i'm not really fan of.
But the way it is written, and the gameplay tricks really hoocked me.
As i wasn't spoiled, it was a geat experience !
Love this kind of game were players are a little bit more envolved in !

Almost one week since my RX 580 came back to me from the repair shop, has been working well in games, no crashes or blackscreens (except the crashfest that is modded Skyrim)...

Not gonna play that but mostly everyone cheats in multiplayer games. That's why I don't play them.
Gaming culture has become toxic and full of thirsty neckbeards funding e-harlots in platforms like Twitch, that in turn gets a cut of revenues, that's why they're never banned and all kinds of pornographic content disguised as "gaming streams" is a good thing for the platform.

Singleplayer rules.

Decided to defrag my hard drives. Most of them are in good shape but one seems to to have gotten away from me...

Yeah.... Drives should never get THIS fragmented. Dropped the ball on this one. BTW, this is after 90minutes of defragmenting on an 8TB partition. Long way to go...

I swear I have the worst of luck. Why did I decide to replace my main system? Continuing (minor) USB issues. What just happened with my new main system? Complete and utter USB failure. USB WiFi stops working. USB keyboard stops working. SSD connected with USB SATA adapter quits working. FML

Also got to love the fact they don't bother providing an integrity hash for the UEFI update... Because the UEFI firmware is exactly the kind of thing you want to download a corrupted or tampered with version of...

Flashing the latest UEFI (December 2022) right now. At first it refused because the "power status" is "inadequate" (no battery installed) so I had to use the "/forceit" option, which people warn you should not do. I wonder how these people update the UEFI of their desktop PC?
