The FirePro M5100 was a professional graphics card by AMD, launched in October 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Venus graphics processor, in its Venus XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Venus graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 123 mm² and 1,500 million transistors. It features 640 shading units, 40 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 725 MHz, which can be boosted up to 775 MHz, memory is running at 1125 MHz.
Being a mxm module card, its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it.
