The GeForce 820M was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in November 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the GF117 graphics processor, in its N15V-GM variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The GF117 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 116 mm² and 585 million transistors. It features 96 shading units, 16 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. NVIDIA has placed 1,024 MB DDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 625 MHz, memory is running at 900 MHz.
Its power draw is rated at 15 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. GeForce 820M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface.
