The Mobility FireGL V5600 was a professional graphics card by ATI, launched in May 2007. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the M76 graphics processor, in its M76 GL variant, the card supports DirectX 10.0. The M76 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 153 mm² and 390 million transistors. It features 120 shading units, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. ATI has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 500 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Mobility FireGL V5600 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface.
