The Mobility Radeon X1700 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in February 2006. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the M66 graphics processor, in its M66 P variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The M66 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 150 mm² and 157 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 475 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Mobility Radeon X1700 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
