The QID LP PCIe was an enthusiast-class graphics card by Matrox, launched on December 17th, 2004. Built on the 0 nm process, and based on the MP-A4 graphics processor, in its MP-A4L variant, the card supports DirectX 8.1. Since QID LP PCIe does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. It features 2 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units, and 2 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). Matrox has paired 128 MB DDR memory with the QID LP PCIe, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 250 MHz, memory is running at 300 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the Matrox QID LP PCIe does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 1x DVI. QID LP PCIe is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface. The card measures 168 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 799 US Dollars.
