The Quadro FX 370 was a mid-range professional graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in September 2007. Built on the 80 nm process, and based on the G84 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 10.0. The G84 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 169 mm² and 289 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked GeForce 8600 GT Mac Edition, which uses the same GPU but has all 32 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading units on the Quadro FX 370 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 16 shading units, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. NVIDIA has placed 256 MB DDR2 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 360 MHz, memory is running at 500 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 370 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 35 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI. Quadro FX 370 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface. The card measures 198 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 129 US Dollars.
