The Radeon HD 6550M was a graphics card by AMD, launched in November 2010. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Lexington graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 11.2. The Lexington graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 334 mm² and 2,154 million transistors. It features 400 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs.
