The Radeon HD 7750M was a mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on April 24th, 2012. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Chelsea graphics processor, in its Chelsea PRO variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_1, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles. The Chelsea graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 123 mm² and 1,500 million transistors. It features 512 shading units, 32 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. AMD has paired 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory with the Radeon HD 7750M, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 575 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz (4 Gbps effective).
Its power draw is rated at 28 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Radeon HD 7750M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface.
