The Radeon HD 8670A was a graphics card by AMD, launched in February 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Sun graphics processor, in its Sun XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Sun graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm² and 1,040 million transistors. It features 320 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 1,024 MB DDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 600 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz.
Being a mxm module card, its power draw is rated at 45 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it.
