The Radeon PRO W7700 is an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on November 13th, 2023. Built on the 5 nm process, and based on the Navi 32 graphics processor, in its Navi 32 variant, the card supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. The Navi 32 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 346 mm² and 28,100 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX 7800 XT, which uses the same GPU but has all 3840 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon PRO W7700 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 3072 shading units, 192 texture mapping units, and 96 ROPs. The card also has 48 raytracing acceleration cores. AMD has paired 16 GB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon PRO W7700, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1900 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2600 MHz, memory is running at 2250 MHz (18 Gbps effective).
Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon PRO W7700 draws power from 1x 8-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 190 W maximum. Display outputs include: 4x DisplayPort 2.1. Radeon PRO W7700 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface. The card measures 241 mm in length, 111 mm in width, and features a dual-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 999 US Dollars.
