The Radeon Pro WX 3100 is a performance professional graphics card by AMD, launched in June 2017. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Lexa graphics processor, in its Lexa XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Lexa graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 103 mm² and 2,200 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon 550X 640SP, which uses the same GPU but has all 640 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon Pro WX 3100 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 512 shading units, 32 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 4,096 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 925 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1219 MHz, memory is running at 1500 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the AMD Radeon Pro WX 3100 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 65 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DisplayPort, 2x mini-DisplayPort. Radeon Pro WX 3100 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 interface. The card measures 145 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution. Its price at launch was 199 US Dollars.
