The Radeon R9 M385 is a graphics card by AMD, launched in May 2015. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Strato graphics processor, in its Strato XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Strato graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 160 mm² and 2,080 million transistors. It features 896 shading units, 56 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 4,096 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 900 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1000 MHz, memory is running at 1200 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Radeon R9 M385 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface.
