The Radeon RX 470 Mobile is a graphics card by AMD, launched in August 2016. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Ellesmere graphics processor, in its Ellesmere PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Ellesmere graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 232 mm² and 5,700 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX 480, which uses the same GPU but has all 2304 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon RX 470 Mobile to reach the product's target shader count. It features 2048 shading units, 128 texture mapping units and 32 ROPs. AMD has placed 8,192 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 926 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1074 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz.
Being a mxm module card, the AMD Radeon RX 470 Mobile does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 85 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it.
