The Radeon RX 5500M is a mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on October 7th, 2019. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 14 graphics processor, in its Navi 14 XTM variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon RX 5500M. AMD has paired 4 GB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon RX 5500M, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1375 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1645 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps effective).
Its power draw is rated at 85 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Radeon RX 5500M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface.
