The Radeon RX 5500 is a graphics card by AMD, launched in October 2019. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 14 graphics processor, in its Navi 14 XT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Navi 14 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 158 mm² and 6,400 million transistors. It features 1408 shading units, 88 texture mapping units and 32 ROPs. AMD has placed 8,192 MB GDDR6 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1670 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1845 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz.
Being a dual-slot card, the AMD Radeon RX 5500 draws power from 1x 8-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 150 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort. Radeon RX 5500 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface.
