The Radeon RX 550X Mobile is a graphics card by AMD, launched in April 2018. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Polaris 23 graphics processor, in its Polaris 23 MXT variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Polaris 23 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 103 mm² and 2,200 million transistors. It features 640 shading units, 40 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1100 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1287 MHz, memory is running at 1500 MHz.
Being a igp card, the AMD Radeon RX 550X Mobile does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 50 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Radeon RX 550X Mobile is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 interface.
