ATI Radeon X800 GTO
The Radeon X800 GTO was a graphics card by ATI, launched in November 2005. Built on the 130 nm process, and based on the R480 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 9.0b. The R480 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 297 mm² and 160 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 6 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 12 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 400 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
We recommend the ATI Radeon X800 GTO for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 800x600.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon X800 GTO does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 49 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. Radeon X800 GTO is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
