The Mobility Radeon HD 3470 was a mobile graphics chip by ATI, launched on January 7th, 2008. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the M82 graphics processor, in its M82-ME XT variant, the chip supports DirectX 10.1. Since Mobility Radeon HD 3470 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The M82 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 67 mm² and 181 million transistors. It features 40 shading units, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. ATI has paired 256 MB DDR2 memory with the Mobility Radeon HD 3470, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 680 MHz, memory is running at 400 MHz.
Being a mxm module card, its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
