NVIDIA GeForce 9800S
The GeForce 9800S was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in July 2008. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the G94 graphics processor, in its 9800S variant, the card supports DirectX 10.0. The G94 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 240 mm² and 505 million transistors. It features 64 shading units, 32 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. NVIDIA has placed 512 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 600 MHz, memory is running at 799 MHz.
We recommend the NVIDIA GeForce 9800S for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Being a igp card, its power draw is rated at 75 W maximum. GeForce 9800S is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface.
