The GeForce4 Go 4200 was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in November 2002. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the NV28 A1 graphics processor, in its NV28M A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 8.1. The NV28 A1 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 101 mm² and 36 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has placed 64 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 200 MHz, memory is running at 200 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. GeForce4 Go 4200 is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP 8x interface.
