ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4830
The Mobility Radeon HD 4830 was a graphics card by ATI, launched in March 2009. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the M97 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 10.1. The M97 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 137 mm² and 826 million transistors. It features 640 shading units, 32 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. ATI has placed 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 550 MHz, memory is running at 700 MHz.
We recommend the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4830 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Mobility Radeon HD 4830 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface.
