The M56 GL graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 150 mm² and 157 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 12 ROPs. We recommend the ATI Mobility FireGL V5200 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1024x768.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Mobility FireGL V5200 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
