AMD Radeon HD 8590M

AMD Sun Image
The Radeon HD 8590M is a graphics card by AMD, launched in March 2013. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Sun graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Sun graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 77 mm² and 1,040 million transistors. It features 320 shading units, 20 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs. AMD has placed 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 750 MHz, which can be boosted up to 825 MHz, memory is running at 1125 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon HD 8590M for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1024x768.
Its power draw is not exactly known. Radeon HD 8590M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface.
