ATI Radeon HD 2900 PRO
The Radeon HD 2900 PRO was a graphics card by ATI, launched in September 2007. Built on the 80 nm process, and based on the R600 graphics processor, in its R600 PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 10.0. The R600 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 420 mm² and 720 million transistors. It features 320 shading units, 16 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. ATI has placed 512 MB GDDR4 memory on the card, which are connected using a 512-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 600 MHz, memory is running at 925 MHz.

Being a dual-slot card, the ATI Radeon HD 2900 PRO draws power from 1x 6-pin + 1x 8-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 200 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI, 1x S-Video. Radeon HD 2900 PRO is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface. The card measures 241 mm in length, and features a dual-slot cooling solution.
