AMD Polaris 21 Image
The Radeon Pro 555 is a professional graphics card by AMD, launched in June 2017. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Polaris 21 graphics processor, in its Polaris 21 PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 12.0. The Polaris 21 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 123 mm² and 3,000 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX 560, which uses the same GPU but has all 1024 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon Pro 555 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 768 shading units, 48 texture mapping units and 16 ROPs. AMD has placed 2,048 MB GDDR5 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 850 MHz, memory is running at 1275 MHz.
We recommend the AMD Radeon Pro 555 for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Being a single-slot card, the AMD Radeon Pro 555 draws power from 1x 6-pin power connectors, with power draw rated at 100 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort. Radeon Pro 555 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. The card measures 165 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
