NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GS OEM
The GeForce 9600 GS OEM was a graphics card by NVIDIA, launched in July 2008. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the G94 graphics processor, in its G94-300-A1 variant, the card supports DirectX 10.0. The G94 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 240 mm² and 505 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked GeForce 9600 GT Mac Edition, which uses the same GPU but has all 64 shaders enabled, NVIDIA has disabled some shading units on the GeForce 9600 GS OEM to reach the product's target shader count. It features 48 shading units, 24 texture mapping units and 12 ROPs. NVIDIA has placed 768 MB DDR2 memory on the card, which are connected using a 192-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 500 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz.
