The Radeon X1650 XT Dual was a graphics card by ATI, launched in October 2006. Built on the 80 nm process, and based on the RV560 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The RV560 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 230 mm² and 330 million transistors. Radeon X1650 XT Dual combines two graphics processors to increase performance. It features 24 pixel shaders and 8 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units and 8 ROPs per GPU. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 512 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface per GPU (each GPU manages 256 MB). The GPU is operating at a frequency of 525 MHz, memory is running at 700 MHz.
We recommend the ATI Radeon X1650 XT Dual for gaming with highest details at resolutions up to, and including, 1280x720.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon X1650 XT Dual draws power from 1x 6-pin power connectors, with power draw not exactly known. Display outputs include: 2x DVI. Radeon X1650 XT Dual is connected to the rest of the system using a PCIe 1.0 x16 interface.
