Abkoncore today rolled out the T404B Hurricane tower type CPU air cooler under its Cool Storm sub-brand. Its design involves a conventional tower-type aluminium fin-stack heatsink that's ventilated by two 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration. With this, the company is claiming a thermal capacity of up to 170 W TDP, and includes support for LGA2066, LGA115x, and AM4 sockets.

The heatsink design involves a base at which four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU, conveying heat through the fin-stack, which is then ventilated by the fans. Each of the two 120 mm fans takes in 4-pin PWM for their main function, spin between 800 to 1,800 RPM, pushing a little over 50 CFM of air with maximum noise output of 33 dBA. The fans feature addressable RGB lighting, and take in 3-pin ARGB input. Measuring 128 mm x 107 mm x 157 mm (WxDxH), it weighs 1 kg. Available now, the Abkoncore Cool Storm T404B Hurricane is priced at 40€.

Akasa rolled out the Vegas Chroma line of top-flow CPU coolers. The coolers come in two variants based on CPU socket types supported. The Vegas Chroma LG supports Intel LGA115x sockets, while the Vegas Chroma AM supports AMD sockets AM4 and AM3+. The cooler's design is an awful lot similar to Intel's stock HSF for desktop processors. An anodized aluminium heatsink with spirally-projecting fins, is ventilated by a 120 mm fan. Airflow from the heatsink ends up ventilating other components around the CPU socket, such as VRM heatsinks, M.2 heatsink, and possibly even memory.

The hydraulic bearing fan takes in 4-pin PWM for its main function, and 3-pin ARGB for the lighting. LEDs are embedded in the hub of the translucent white impeller. In both variants, the fan spins between 500 and 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 51.3 CFM of air, with a noise output of up to 32.5 dBA. Both variants measure 120 mm x 120 mm length and width; but differ in height. The LG variant is 59 mm tall, and the AM variant 63 mm. The LG variant weighs 380 g as it requires a back-plate, while the AM variant tips the scales at 340 g. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Noctua today introduced another addition to its chromax line of all-black CPU coolers: the new NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.black is a low-profile quiet CPU cooler for AMD's Ryzen-based HTPCs and Small Form Factor (SFF) builds. Thanks to the same proven heatsink design and NF-A9x14 PWM fan as the original NH-L9a-AM4, it stays true to the same successful formula of fusing a height of only 37 mm with strong performance and excellent quietness of operation, as well as 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility. At the same time, the chromax.black version, with its black fan and black coated heatsink, combines these assets with a sleek stealth look.

The star-attraction here is their new flagship power-supply, the Dark Power Pro 12. Available in two high-wattage variants, 1,200-Watt and 1,500-Watt, this series boasts of 80 Plus Titanium certification (rare for such high wattage, including in 100-120VAC regions and not just 220-240VAC). It features fully digital power regulation across all domains. The digital power regulation covers 12 V, LLC, and PFC. It's important to note that it does not use a single +12V rail design, but rather a 6-rail design, with at least 40 A per rail. The 1500 W model features a couple of 45 A rails. There are markings on the connection dock about which specific rail is pulling a connector, so you don't end up overloading a rail.

The Dark Power Pro 12 features an "OC Mode" toggle that optimizes the PSU for overclocking. It is cooled by a 135 mm Silent Wings fan that's optimized for whisper-quiet operation. The 1200 W model provides eight 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, while the 1500 W model provides ten of them. You get at least two 8-pin EPS connectors that aren't piggy-backing a single cable. You get all common electrical protections (over/under-voltage, overload, short-circuit, and overheat). The PSU is housed in a premium brushed aluminium body with a fine mesh over the fan intake. You get single-sleeved modular cables. be quiet! is backing this PSU with a 10-year warranty, and will launch it in February 2020 at an undisclosed price.

To help with your snow-themed builds on a budget, Deepcool rolled out a [mostly] white variant of its GAMMAXX GTE V2 tower-type CPU cooler. The GTE V2 White features a silvery-white top-plate that caps the aluminium fin-stack heatsink; white caps for the heat-pipes, while fan-frame and impeller, and a white LED illumination for the fan. The aluminium fins retain their typical chrome finish.

The GAMMAXX GTE V2 features a tower-type aluminium fin-stack heatsink to which heat is conveyed by four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes that make direct contact with the CPU at the base. DeepCool today released the GAMMAXX GT ARGB, a refresh of the GAMMAXX GT RGB CPU cooler from 2017. The new GT ARGB, as its name suggests, implements modern addressable-RGB lighting with a 3-pin ARGB connection. The fan takes in 4-pin PWM to spin. DeepCool also used the opportunity to change the design of the top-plate of the fin-stack. It now comes in matte-black, with an illuminated DeepCool company logo. The included 120 mm fan is also updated (besides the ARGB illumination). It now spins at speeds of up to 1,650 RPM (the original's fan spun at up to 1,500 RPM), although the max airflow rating is reduced to 64.5 CFM (compared to 70 CFM of the original).

Here are some of the first pictures of the Frost Spirit by Thermalright, the company's next flagship air CPU cooler. Featuring a dual fin-stack design, the Frost Spirit features dense fin-stacks, in which the fins bunch up toward the center, creating turbulence and increasing heat-dissipation to the medium (air-flow). The fin-stack gets slimmer toward the base, adding clearance for your motherboard's memory and CPU VRM areas. Four 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes pull heat from the mirror-finish nickel-plated copper base, spreading it across the fin-stacks. Both stacks are capped off by metal top-plates. Up to three 140 mm fans can be mounted. The heatsink weighs 1 kg on its own (without fans). Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066. It could see a product launch soon.

ID-COOLING today announced SE-224-XT Basic CPU air cooler, featuring 4 direct-touch copper heatpipe, 120 mm PWM fan and newly designed mounting mechanism. This cooler is designed to cool those processors with a TDP under 180 W. With a dimension of 120x73x154mm, this cooler is basically compatible with all regular ATX cases.

The included standard 120x120x25mm fan has 8 pcs rubber dampeners on all corners of both sides, running at 700 to 1800rpm with PWM support while pushing 76.16CFM air at maximum speed, noise level measured 15.2 to 32.5 dB(A). An extra fan clip set is included for a push-pull configuration. The bundled thermal grease is named ID-TG25, which has a thermal conductivity of 10.5 W/m-K.

Korean PC cooling major Zalman released the CNPS20X and CNPS17X air coolers with RGB LED embellishments. The CNPS or computer noise prevention system line of CPU coolers from Zalman consist of the most outlandish and off-beat heatsink designs, and it's no different with the CNPS20X and CNPS17X. The CNPS17X has a solo fin-stack heatsink with one included fan, while the CNPS20X is a dual fin-stack heatsink with two included fans. Both coolers feature a small quantity of pure copper fins in addition to aluminium fins. The copper fins are positioned toward the center of the stack.

Both coolers include an RGB LED-embellished variant of the ZM-SF140, a 140 mm fan with split-blade impellers designed to increase air-flow. The fans spin between 800 to 1,500 RPM, pushing up to 63 CFM of air, with noise output ranging between 16.5 dBA to 28 dBA. An X-shaped form along the fan-frame holds clear acrylic diffusers for the RGB LEDs. The heights of both coolers are capped at 16 cm, which should make them kosher for most contemporary mid-towers cases. Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066. The CNPS17X is rated for thermal loads of up to 200 W, while the CNPS20X is claimed by its makers to be fit for 300 W. Available in the EU, the CNPS17X is priced at 60€, while the CNPS20X goes for 80€.

The European cooling and PC Case brand SilentiumPC presents the improved version of its Fortis 3 CPU cooler. For the Fortis 3 RGB HE1425, SilentiumPC has applied nickel-plating of the whole heat sink, which on the one hand visually enhances the tower cooler and on the other hand protects the material from corrosion. The tower cooler is also equipped with the brand-new Stella HP RGB 140 mm SE PWM fan, which not only enables modern RGB lighting, but is also more powerful at the same time. SilentiumPC is able to enrich the market with an improved and powerful tower cooler, which is particularly suitable for PC upgrades as well as new PC systems with modern RGB lighting.

In the course of the modernization of the Fortis 3, SilentiumPC gives the Fortis 3 RGB a finishing touch. The difference to the predecessor model can be seen right away, due to the fact that the Fortis 3 RGB has all copper elements as well as the aluminium fins carefully nickel-plated. This gives the tower cooler a uniform, high-quality look and protects the material from corrosion. Scythe unveiled the low-profile Shuriken 2 SCSK-2000 CPU cooler (not to be confused with the Big Shuriken series of large top-flow coolers). With a height of 58 mm (with the fan in place), the SCSK-2000 is meant for compact Mini-ITX desktop builds with fairly high thermal loads of around 100 W TDP. Its design consists of a dense aluminium fin-stack arranged along the plane of the motherboard, to which heat drawn indirectly through a nickel-plated copper base-plate is conveyed by four 6 mm-thick heat pipes. The heatsink is ventilated by Kaze Flex 92 Slim PWM fan. This 92 mm spinner takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 200 to 2,500 RPM, and pushes 4.96 to 41.30 CFM of air, with a noise output of up to 23.2 dBA. Measuring 94 mm x 93 mm x 58 mm (WxDxH), the SCSK-2000 weighs 350 g. Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4 and LGA115x. The cooler will be available from early-December. The company didn't reveal pricing.

MonsterLabo, a team of four people best known for their work on "The First" PC case, are at it again with giant pieces of PC component tech. This time, they took tried and true designs and sizes of CPU and GPU coolers and threw them into an enlargement ray, coming up with what they are calling "The Heart". As it stands, and it stands higher and heavier than all other cooling solutions hitherto, "The Heart" is a cooling solution that extends from your CPU through to your GPU, cooling both with its design of densely stacked fins.

Dimensions is where "The Heart" is bold, with the cooler measuring 200 by 185 mm and 265 mm tall. Adding insult to injury, its weight comes in at 6.6 lbs (3 Kg for us metric system aficionados). MonsterLabo rates the cooler's dissipation capabilities at 100 W CPU load and a 120 W GPU. Adding a 500-RPM 140 mm fan would bump those numbers to 140 W and 160 W, respectively. Mind these numbers apply to cases where "The Heart" is installed into MonsterLabo's own The First case, but differences should be relatively minor in any other case, should you actually be able to install it there. Of course, the combined CPU and GPU design will be very hit or miss - your graphics card will have to be perfectly compatible with the cooler, with its GPU set just right on the PCB for it to be perfectly covered by it. If you want to risk that, you can always drop $200 or €180 for The Heart, in either black or white finishes. Inexpensive for a heart, yes, but extremely expensive as a cooler with expected limited compatibility.

Jonsbo unveiled the CR-2000, a type-D (double fin-stack) CPU cooler. The cooler's design is characterized by an RGB LED illuminated brushed metal top-plate on both of its fin-stacks, besides two illuminated RGB LED illuminated fans. A single 3-pin 5 V ARGB cable handles lighting for the entire cooler. Six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, and their ends pass through the two aluminium fin-stacks. Two 120 mm fans ventilate the fin-stacks, one through the first stack, and the second in the middle of the two stacks. A third fan can be mounted to pull air from the second stack.

Each of the two included 120 mm fans takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 700 to 1,500 RPM, pushing 25.5 to 62.8 CFM of air, with a noise output of 18.1 to 29.5 dBA. The cooler measures 159 mm x 120 mm x 134 mm (LxWxH), weighing 900 g. Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4 and LGA115x, although the manufacturer doesn't mention support for any HEDT sockets such as LGA2066, much less TR4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Raijintek unveiled the EOS 360 RBW all-in-one, closed-loop, liquid CPU cooler. Characterized by a CPU water-block design that's sure to bring back memories of your Beyblade collection, it provides a slightly larger-than-usual rectangular copper base with a 0.12 mm micro-fin lattice. The pump is integrated with the 360 mm x 120 mm radiator, has a pressure head of 1.5 m, noise output of up to 30 dBA at maximum speed, and features a ceramic-axis bearing that lends it a service life of 50,000 hours. The radiator features 12 coolant channels, is made of aluminium, and is 29 mm thick. The three included 120 mm fans take in 4-pin PWM input for their main function, and 5 V ARGB for the lighting, spin between 800 to 1,800 RPM, feature hydraulic bearings with 40,000-hour service life, and push up to 75 CFM of air with 28 dBA noise output, each. Among the CPU sockets supported are AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066. It is priced at USD $70 (MSRP).

A star attraction with this cooler is its cylindrical pump-block which has a circular LCD display on top, much like ASUS ROG Ryujin. Unlike the Ryujin, the display is white and takes up color from a circular RGB LED ring surrounding the display, giving it the appearance of a color display. Sleeved coolant tubes connect this block to a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator, which ventilated by a pair of 120 mm fans that have RGB LED illumination.

A single 3-pin addressable RGB connection handles lighting for the entire cooler, while a USB 2.0 header connection interfaces the cooler with GIGABYTE's RGB Fusion software, letting you cycle through its display. The included pair of 120 mm fans feature double ball-bearings, each spin up to 2,500 RPM, pushing 59.25 CFM of air, with a noise output of 18 to 39.5 dBA. The block is made of copper, while the radiator is made of aluminium. Among the CPU socket types supported are AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066. Thermalright today rolled out the True Spirit 90M Rev B CPU cooler. A major update to the True Spirit 90M Rev A from 2013, the Rev B comes with four 6 mm-thick heat-pipes instead of three. The aluminium fin-stack pushed slightly further to the left and top to free up more clearance near the motherboard's memory area and the M.2 slot closest to the CPU socket. It also has an updated aesthetic (different fan colors). Support is added for some of the newer CPU sockets, such as AM4.

Interestingly, the thermal load capacity between the two revisions remains unchanged at 120 Watts. Measuring 102 mm x 50 mm x 125 mm (WxDxH), the cooler weighs 365 g, which is in fact 22 g lighter than the Rev A. The fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 800 to 2,000 RPM, and pushes up to 39.36 CFM of air, with a noise output of 27 dBA. The True Spirit 90M Rev B replaces the Rev A at its $29 price.

Cryorig launched its first new product in months after going MIA in the US market with imminent plans to return, the new C7 G CPU Cooler. The company had unveiled this cooler just ahead of this year's Computex. A variant of the C7 Cu all-copper, top-flow, low-profile air cooler, the C7 G features graphene coating on the copper fins and heat-pipes. This coating increases surface-area for heat dissipation at a microscopic level, and is similar in concept to the ceramic coating that CPU cooler manufacturers dabbled with in the past. The cooler can now handle thermal loads of up to 125 W, whereas the original C7 Cu was rated for up to 115 W.

With its fan in place, the C7 G has a height of 47 mm. It uses 57 copper fins stacked perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard, to which heat drawn from the base is conveyed by four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes that make direct contact with the CPU. The 92 mm fan takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 600 to 2,500 RPM, pushing up to 40.5 CFM of air with a noise output of up to 30 dBA. The cooler only supports mainstream-desktop CPU socket types, including AM4 and LGA115x. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ID-Cooling rolled out the IS-50X, a low-profile CPU cooler capable of handling thermal loads of up to 130 Watts, with a height of just 75 mm. The cooler features a "C-type" heatsink design. Five 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, and guide heat through an aluminium fin-stack that's arranged along the plane of the motherboard. The fins are slightly broader towards the portion of the stack that's directly above the CPU socket, and thinner along the periphery, to offer clearance to your motherboard's memory and CPU VRM areas.

A 15 mm-thick 120 mm PWM fan ventilates the fin-stack. This fan spins between 600 to 1,600 RPM, pushing up to 53.6 CFM of air, at a noise output ranging between 13.8 to 30.2 dBA. Measuring 122 mm x 120 mm x 75 mm (with the fan installed), the cooler weighs 385 g. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA115x, AM4, AM3(+), and FM2(+). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Spire's gamer-centric brand, X2 Products, unveiled the CoolStorm T402B Spider Red CPU cooler. Featuring a conventional tower-type design, the cooler features an all-black aluminium fin-stack, complete with black anodized heat-pipes. The cooler's four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat through the fin-stack. The fin-stack has jagged edges to increase turbulence and heat-dissipation. Ventilating it is a 120 mm fan that has two red plastic accents along the black fan-frame. The impeller isn't illuminated.

The fan features a hydraulic bearing that's rated for 100,000 hours, takes in 4-pin PWM input, spins between 800 to 2,000 RPM, and pushes between 10 and 45.21CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 20 to 33 dBA. The cooler can handle thermal loads of up to 135 W, and hence gives HEDT sockets a miss. The only CPU socket types it supports are AM4, AM3(+), FM2(+), and Intel LGA115x. With its fan in place, the cooler measures 123 mm x 73 mm x 156.5 mm (WxDxH), and weighs a little over 250 g. Backed by a 2-year warranty, it is priced at USD $45.
