NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the PA322UHD-2 display, which includes all the features of the existing PA322UHD model and now updates the option slot with support for 4K UHD inputs, including an installed, switchable DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 option. The Open Pluggable Specification (OPS)-compliant option slot gives videographers, photographers, print production specialists and others added flexibility to use the PA322UHD-2 in an even wider range of existing workflows.

ASUS today announced its latest mini PCs, the VivoMini VC65 Series. The VC65 and VC65R mini PCs feature a versatile modular design with three storage and optical drive configurations for increased performance, productivity, and entertainment. They are the world's smallest mini PCs that can accommodate up to four 2.5-inch SSD or HDD storage modules. The panel surface features 3H anti-glare coating. Inputs include DisplayPort 1.2, mDP 1.2, and HDMI 1.4a (with MHL support). A USB 3.0 hub comes included. Dell didn't reveal pricing or availability.

It draws power from a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors, and conditions it for the CPU with a 4+1 phase VRM. The CPU socket is wired to four DDR3 DIMM slots, which support up to 32 GB of DDR3-2133 MHz memory.

Expansion slots include one PCI-Express 2.0 x16, featuring a reinforcement brace; one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (electrical x4), and two each of PCIe 2.0 x1 and legacy PCI. Storage connectivity includes six SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd announces the PC-Q04 Mini Tower Chassis for Mini-ITX systems. While not the smallest chassis Lian Li offers, this case gives builders a bit more breathing room without compromising its compact size. The enhanced vents are designed to mitigate any vibration or noise from case fans and maximize the cooling performance of the internal components themselves. The PC-Q04 employs both its floor and roof space for drive mounting, doing away with externally facing bays for improved airflow.

One of the biggest features of the PC-Q04 is its vents - they are the only things that could be described as "big" on this case. The large side vent lets the PSU draw and vent out its own air to work as efficiently as possible. Meanwhile, the bottom left and right vents as well as the entire floor panel allow the GPU to take in air as needed while giving the CPU enough room to breath. The rear panel is another large vent to let warm air escape. Tall rubber feet prevent vibrations and suspend the case to let air flow readily through the bottom vent.
