Zotac Announces Limited-Edition Golden GTX 760 Extreme Edition for China

Celebrating 6 years in the business of NVIDIA GeForce products, Zotac announced a limited-edition golden GeForce GTX 760 Extreme Edition, exclusive to the Greater China region. Based on the July-launched GTX 760 Extreme Edition, the card features gold-electroplated metal cooler shroud, upper-side VRM heatsink, and back-plate. The shroud features chrome accents over the gold. The card ships with the same 1137 MHz core, 1202 MHz GPU Boost, and 6208 MHz memory, as the standard GTX 760 Extreme Edition. It draws power from 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, conditioning it using an 8+3 phase VRM. A complex cooling solution, which includes a vapor-chamber plate, multiple copper heat-pipes, and a thick aluminium fin-stack, keep the card cool.

ZOTAC Unveils GeForce GTX 650 Ti Destroyer TSI

In value-conscious markets, the way a graphics card is presented, goes a long way in making sure it sells. ZOTAC understands this all too well, and unveiled its new GeForce GTX 650 Ti Destroyer TSI graphics card. The card features top-Dollar looks, but really features a clever amount of cost-balancing. To begin with, its cooler uses a monolithic aluminum heatsink that's densely ridged, although it looks like a fin-stack. The heatsink is cooled by a pair of 70 mm fans, and is clad by a sporty-looking ABS shroud. The PCB features a 4-phase VRM, which draws power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector. The card ships with a factory-overclock of 1033 MHz core, and 6.00 GHz memory (96 GB/s). It features 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, across a 128-bit wide memory interface. ZOTAC is offering the card within the Greater China region, only.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 770 Extreme Edition Detailed

ZOTAC launched its premium GeForce GTX 770 Extreme Edition SKU in the Greater China region. The SKU outranks AMP!, and offers a suite of enthusiast features, such as a strong VRM, and better air cooling. It's not unlike the GTX 680 Extreme Edition or GTX 670 Extreme Edition. To begin with, the GTX 770 Extreme Edition features a slightly updated Gamer Force cooler, with higher aluminum fin density for the GPU heatsink, and a chunkier metal heatsink to cool the VRM. A back-plate cools components on the reverse side of the PCB.

The GTX 770 Extreme Edition features the same exact PCB as its predecessor, featuring a 12-phase (8+3+1) VRM, which makes use of noise-free chokes, a combination of conductive polymer and tantalum capacitors, three proadlizers (multi-phase capacitors for power conditioning), and International Rectifier PowIRstage driver-MOSFETs. A combination of CHiL CHL8318 (8-phase) and CHL 8214-03 (4-phase) chips are used to run the VRM. The main heatsink uses a copper base (not vapor-chamber) to make contact with the GPU, from which five 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes sprout out, transporting heat to the far-reaches of the heatsink. A pair of 92 mm PWM-controlled fans ventilate the heatsink, which are held by a sporty aluminum shroud.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 Ti Extreme Graphics Card Detailed

To the rest of the world, ZOTAC's fastest GeForce GTX 660 Ti offering is the AMP! Edition, but select markets in the Greater China region have access to the good stuff, the GTX 660 Ti Extreme. Built for competitive overclocking, the GTX 660 Ti Extreme from ZOTAC features in the same GamerForce series as the GTX 670 Extreme and GTX 680 Extreme. Except the change in color scheme of the cooler shroud (which is now black+gold), and the narrower memory bus interface, the card is virtually identical to the GTX 670 Extreme.

The GTX 660 Ti Extreme features the same exact PCB design as the one used on the GTX 670 and GTX 680 Extreme graphics cards. With the exception of two empty 32-bit wide memory pads, the PCB designs are identical. The PCB retains the 13-phase VRM that draws power from 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors, OC+ module support, and the beastly dual 92 mm fan-heatsink. The cooler uses five 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat-pipes to convey heat to a dense aluminum fin array, which is then ventilated by the two fans.
